DIY - small pouch for role play

Cut out a circle of leather or suede. Use a pen to make marks where you want the holes

Punch holes all the way round

Slip a thread through the holes

Pull the thread and tie a bow. Attach beads at the ends. There you go - a nice little gift to give away to the child that likes role play. It only takes 10-15 minutes to make this

How to customize a shirt

1. Buy a simple shirt. This one was on sale for 20 Dkr.

2. Find your scraps of yarn in the colours you like

3. Crochet small circles with two different colours. Weave in ends

4. Attach the circles to the shirt. I used my sewing machine for this part. Now you have a unique shirt and people will surely think that it costed a lot more than 20 Dkr. Enjoy!

Jar cover and rug

Inspired by the book "Lazy Crochet" I made this jar cover. Still love the idea of recycling...

Speaking of recycling: I'm working on this rug made out of some of my husband's old shirts and other fabrics. The hook is a 15 mm!
A happy day to you:)

Little green dog

Here's the green dog, I was telling you about. He was inspired by the watercolour paintings.

Please click to enlarge the picture if you want to see the details of my dog. I made a pattern as I went along. Still dreaming about and working on that book...

Watercolour amigurumi

I was painting with the boys. We sat in the sun and the colours dried fast.

It's fun to make different expressions on the faces of the small amigurumi animals. It's a bit more difficult when you crochet

These painted amigurumi creatures inspires me to crochet. A little green dog is on its way...

The making of a face

Working on a little bear and now to the making of the face. Started with the white of the eyes made of felt.

Then sewed the black of the eyes on to the white circle

Attaching the ears

With embroidery thread I sewed the nose and the mouth. The expression of the face makes it look like a girl, I think

And here she is - all finished...
