Amigurumi

Hi there! I have to go to work in 5 minutes, so this will be a very quick post. Just wanted to show you my latest amigurumi creature. He's just sitting there on the bench, patiently waiting...

For those of you who live in Denmark, there's a free postcard for you in cafes all over the country. Just check out if they have GoCards before you order your latte, and then find the postcard with a little crocheted bear. He says: "Vil du med på café?" I hope you find him! Have a nice day.

A cat and a question

If anyone remember a cat I mentioned in a previous post, it's here for you now. It looks kind of Japanese, don't you think? The coloured fabric is from an old retro curtain, from the sixties or seventies.

And this... What is it? Have a guess. Post a comment here with your answer, and there will be a good prize to win, if you come up with the right answer.

Koala for Silas

Here it is! The koala for my oldest son, Silas, I was telling you about yesterday. It will be a surprise for him when he gets home from gymnastics today. I'm looking forward to seeing his happy face when he meets his new friend. This koala wouldn't have been so cute if I didn't know about Mouk. Thank you, Marc Boutavant, for the neverending inspiration.

Easter Bunny

I made this easter bunny a couple of days a go. The small pups in the pocket are made of chocolate. My oldest son likes the animals I make, and now he wants a koala! If it turns out well, I'll post it here:)

Panda bear

I got the inspiration for these panda bears from the children's book about Mouk, who travels round the world. The book is illustrated by the French artist Marc Boutavant.

The pattern for the pandas is inspired by the ones from Mollychicken. I'm working on a cat. Maybe it's ready for you tomorrow. Must go to sleep now...

Patchwork scarf

A patchwork scarf made of vintage and new fabric in fresh spring colours. I saw the scarf in the Danish interior and fashion magazine BoligLiv. My friend, Lykke, liked it (the scarf) :)
Have a nice day!

My day

It is such a wonderful day today and I want to share it with you. I made this cute easter bunny by looking at the "Love bird tutorial" at Mollychicken's blog. I thank you, Lynn Roberts, for your beautiful designs that inspires me so.

Spring is everywhere in the garden now, and I love it!

This is where I had my lunch. Enjoyed the sun and my day off...

I snook into the neighbours garden and took a picture of his lovely flowers. Don't know what they are called in English - in Danish their name is "Dortea-liljer" (Dortea lilies).

These are the freckels that will cover my nose and cheeks after a few days in the sun.

A glimpse of my day - hope you liked it. Feel free to leave a comment. It makes me so happy to hear from you.

RECYCLE MORE!

Another jam jar covered with crochet. This one is easier to make since I used two threads of yarn and a large crochet hook. I love to make something new out of something used - recycle!

RECYCLE!

I'm into recycling ideas these days. Found an empty jam jar, washed it and crocheted this colorful cosy for it. More to come!

Fred the Frog

Hi there! I'm Fred the Frog. I was made by Puk, and she gave me this nice little matchbox to sleep in.

Friday I drink a couple of beers in my favourite pub: The Marshmallow. It's on the corner of Crane Street and Owls Road. You should stop by sometime.

Once I fell in a hole in the ground. I know what you're thinking... but this happened on a Monday. A mole stored a big fungus there. I didn't like the smell of it.

Weekend...

What's better than a weekend with time to bake and see your friends? Four girls came over for tea and muffins Saturday. The boys and I played and read good books. Only one thing I missed: the presence of my loving husband. He spent the weekend with old friends and loud music:)
Had a lot of time to crochet and found out that bracelets are not only a girls thing. The boys picked the colours of the yarn and found buttons in my sewing room. They are proud af their "magical bracelets" that gives them different energies. Maybe I should make one for myself with a little "money energy" in it?
Hope you enjoyed your weekend as much as I did!

Waiting for the sun

As a tribute to spring I made a little branch to hang from a necklace. I'm happy to see all the small spring flowers outside and I'm longing for warmer days. Waiting for the sun!

My love

I've been trying to take some pictures of my last creation but they didn't turn out so good. In the meantime I'll show you what a sweet and caring husband I have. Sunday, when I was in a really bad mood, he made me this cup of coffee. A sure and simple way to cheer me up. He's so creative!
