Elephant for Villads

A letter for Christina. The owner of Astas, where I sell some of my stuff.

As I told you earlier my cousin had a son three weeks ago. Here he is. Isn't he beautiful? His name is Villads.

And here is the present I gave him: a crocheted elephant. His parents loved it!

Crocheted cape and children's play

This is my new cape. Crocheted on needle nr. 10. Fast and easy! My next project has to be something small for my cousin's newborn boy. Don't know what to make though... Baby shoes? A cuddly toy? A rattle? Any suggestions?

Children's construction set made out of wood. Nice box!

I remember these wooden pegs from my childhood. Maybe I can use the patterns on the box for cross stitching...

How to make your own stamp

Things you need: eraser, pen, soft pencil, scissors, sharp hobby knife, linoleum cutter, ink pad

1. Draw small things. I like to use a pen for this

2. Draw with a soft pencil on the drawing you like the most

3. Cut out drawing

4. Paint on the back of the paper with the soft pencil to transfer the drawing to the eraser

5. Use the linoleum cutter to cut out your drawing

6. Wanted two small stamps

7. Here's the finished result: Leaves and a hungry little worm

A gift from a friend

Finally the rug is finished. Very happy about the fact that my husband loves it too.

Can you image the joy I felt when this little gift was in my mailbox today? It was from my friend Annika.

Inside the box was a pair of hand felted earrings. They look funny and I love them. They are very light and I'm wearing them right now. On the box the sign says: "To Puk, a dear friend". I'm so lucky to have a friend like Annika:)

Not enough time...

Hi there!
Haven't spent so much time crocheting these last days. Some friends helped us putting up a wall in our living room and now we're painting and busy tidying to make room for new furniture. I hope to show you pictures of our new living room soon. A few days in a house by the sea might give me time to crochet more - hope so!

New head band

I was going to a party on Friday and needed a little special accessorie to spice my outfit up. This was what I made. Thinking about making more and start to sell them in my upcoming shop...

DIY - small pouch for role play

Cut out a circle of leather or suede. Use a pen to make marks where you want the holes

Punch holes all the way round

Slip a thread through the holes

Pull the thread and tie a bow. Attach beads at the ends. There you go - a nice little gift to give away to the child that likes role play. It only takes 10-15 minutes to make this

How to customize a shirt

1. Buy a simple shirt. This one was on sale for 20 Dkr.

2. Find your scraps of yarn in the colours you like

3. Crochet small circles with two different colours. Weave in ends

4. Attach the circles to the shirt. I used my sewing machine for this part. Now you have a unique shirt and people will surely think that it costed a lot more than 20 Dkr. Enjoy!
